VOV.VN – Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed: “The groundbreaking of Song Mai – Nghia Trung Industrial Park will become a model industrial park that is “bright, green, clean, smart, and multi-utility”, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh in the coming years.
On August 21, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Song Mai – Nghia Trung Industrial Park took place in Bac Ninh province. This is a project of great significance, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development goals, enhancing the position of Bac Ninh in the industrialization and modernization process.
Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Pham Manh Hung and Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan and delegates pressed the button to start the project.
Song Mai – Nghia Trung Industrial Park Project is invested by Hanoi – Bac Giang Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company; the Prime Minister approved the investment policy in Decision No. 198/QD-TTg dated January 21, 2025 with a total planning area of 197.1 hectares.
Phase 1 of the project is deployed on 50 hectares, with a total investment of more than 2,800 billion VND. After completion, the industrial park will become a multi-industry industrial park with synchronous and modern infrastructure, meeting the needs of secondary investors and making an important contribution to the industrial – economic – social development of Bac Ninh province.
Immediately after being approved, the investor promptly coordinated with departments, branches and local authorities to implement compensation and site clearance work.
By June 2025, the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province issued Decision No. 794/QD-UBND to allocate the entire area of 50 hectares of land in phase 1 to implement the project. At the same time, the leaders of Bac Ninh province also decided to allocate an additional 89.8 hectares, bringing the total area of phase 1 to 139.8 hectares.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that the groundbreaking of Song Mai – Nghia Trung Industrial Park has a very special meaning because this is the first industrial park to be deployed after Bac Ninh province was merged. At the same time, he hopes that it will become a new boost, continuing the growth trend, creating a driving force to promote Bac Ninh industry to develop sustainably in the coming period.
“With the determination of the investor and the support of all levels and sectors, Song Mai – Nghia Trung Industrial Park will become a model industrial park “bright, green, clean, smart, multi-utility”, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh in the coming years” – Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee emphasized.
Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan also requested the investor to clearly define the role, location, and development space; devote many resources, human resources, and material resources to focus on quickly and synchronously deploying technical infrastructure, especially traffic, lighting systems, and wastewater treatment.
At the same time, it is requested that the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board coordinate with departments, branches and sectors to provide maximum support in procedures and create the most favorable conditions for investors. Local authorities should strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to agree and soon complete site clearance work.
Machinery ready to work after the groundbreaking ceremony
Representatives of Hanoi – Bac Giang Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company also expressed their honor to implement the project in Bac Ninh – a locality with the leading industrial development speed in the country. At the same time, they sincerely thanked the attention and support of the Government, central ministries, leaders of Bac Ninh province, local authorities and people.
The investor commits to build the industrial park infrastructure according to the plan, ensuring the quality, progress and safety of the project, and completing it soon to attract investors. Closely coordinate with departments, branches, and authorities of Viet Yen and Da Mai wards in site clearance, creating a clean and synchronous land fund for secondary investors. Build a modern, synchronous, and environmentally friendly industrial park, contributing to making Bac Ninh an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investment.
